This listing is for taxidermy preparation services for ranch-raised fox pelts purchased from us. This service is not included with the purchase of a raw pelt and must be added separately.

The Taxidermy Prep Service includes:

• Fleshing

• Turning ears

• Splitting lips, eyes, and septum

• Removing fat pads from the feet

• Salting and drying

This service prepares the pelt for tanning or mounting and is intended for taxidermy use.

Ordering Information

• This service is priced per pelt

• One Taxidermy Prep Service must be added for each pelt you want prepared

• Example:

  • 1 pelt = add 1 prep service

  • 2 pelts = add 2 prep services

If the correct number of prep services is not added to the cart, processing delays may occur while we contact you to correct the order.

Additional Notes

• This service is available only for pelts purchased from us

• Tanning is not included with this service

• Tanning can be arranged separately upon request through one of the professional tanneries we work with

• If a pelt is sent to a tannery at the buyer’s request, the finished tanned product is the responsibility of the tannery, not the seller
